In Celebration Of Our 19th Anniversary

The Hudson Jazz Workshop is a weekend immersion in Jazz improvisation and composition, with two of today's leading practitioners of duo playing, Armen Donelian and Marc Mommaas. For 19 years each summer, we have offered a supportive and focused atmosphere conducive to intensive study and mutual encouragement, through individual and group instruction, jam sessions and a faculty/student concert. Enrollment is limited to 10 participants. Scholarship support is available. Wholesome meals are freshly prepared. This is a unique opportunity for musicians to freely convene, connect and collaborate without academic pressures or commercial distractions.

Our Special Guest in 2025 is Guitarist Steve Cardenas, who has performed extensively throughout Europe, North and South America and Asia at festivals, theaters and clubs. Steve teaches at The New School Jazz program in New York City and has taught extensively at international workshops.
